Ambika Gautam is a versatile literary critic, editor, and educator in the Nepali language who is well-versed in over a dozen of research articles published in different peer-reviewed journals. She also authored a book named “Praayogik Samalochanaakaa Kehi Pakchya”, few aspects of experimental criticism in Nepali literature. She has obtained sound knowledge of Nepali linguistics including proficient skills for analyzing social and cultural issues in a generalized form, experienced in editing Nepali linguistic and literature projects and books, and qualified to teach any range of local and foreign students. She has excellent communication and writing skills and classroom management.
Currently, she is associated with Bishwobhasha Campus (Campus of International Languages) and Oscar International College(College of Film Studies) as a lecturer and has been teaching the Nepali language and its literatures to the foreigners. Earlier, she has acquired comprehensive theory and practical knowledge of journalism and contributed as a staff reporter in a radio and print media.
She holds MPhil. in Nepali from Central Department of Nepali, TU, has completed her Masters in Humanities and Social Science with major Nepali from TU. She also received a fellowship award from University Grants Commission (UGC), Nepal for her MPhil degree. Also, she is active in different social organizations and doing social service in society.
