• Proper posture, hand placement, and finger movement for clean sound production
• Learning foundational strokes: Ta (right), Na (left), and Dha (both)
• Clapping and counting exercises to develop rhythm awareness
• Practice of basic Theka patterns in 4, 6, and 8 beats
• Introduction and mastery of Keherwa Taal (8-beat rhythm cycle)
• Tempo control: practicing at slow, medium, and fast speeds
• Application of rhythms to Nepali folk music and songs
• Development of short rhythm compositions and variations
• Group coordination, duet exercises, and rhythm syncing
